The patented Ultrasonic Advantage™ can then be used to automatically and thoroughly clean the aspirate and dispense manifold. The 405 TS is the first self-checking, self-maintaining microplate washer available!
Cell-based assays and microsphere-based assays are easily run with the 405 TS’s unique set of available features and modules for gentle washing vacuum filtration and biomagnetic separation.
Self-maintaining design with patented ultrasonic bathManifold tube clogs are the most common source of failure on plate washers. The built-in, patented Ultrasonic Advantage allows the instrument to clean build up in the manifold tube automatically, without removing it from the instrument.
The Verify technology option eliminates tedious manual procedures by using an ultrasonic probe to check dispense and aspirate performance. Test results are automatically displayed and indicate tubes that may require additional cleaning.

Multiplexed bead-based assays are very common, and 405 TS easily accommodates necessary wash steps. Magnet accessories for biomagnetic separation workflows, available in both flat and 4-zone ring designs, ensure high bead recovery. A vacuum filtration module is available for polystyrene bead assays.
