Information

The 405™ LS Microplate Washer is the fifth generation Agilent-BioTek washer, known for superior performance and reliability for washing protocols ranging from gentle cell washing to vigorous ELISAs. The 405 LS has a simple user interface for creation and execution of wash, dispense, aspirate and maintenance protocols within the extensive onboard software. For use under computer control, BioTek’s LHC™ Software is available in standard and 21 CFR Part 11 compliant versions.

The optional BioStack™ is available for walk-away automation of up to 50 microplates.

  • Software

    The 405 LS has extensive onboard software, accessed through the convenient touchscreen interface. Program all aspects of the system’s wash and maintenance parameters, quickly and easily and store them onboard for routine use.

    LHC
    LHC Software allows computer-based programming of multi-step processes and it is used for integrating BioTek’s multi-mode washer dispensers, washers and dispensers into robotic systems. You can operate the system under computer control via LHC, or create protocols in LHC and download to the instrument for recall and execution.

    LHC Secure software
    LHC Secure software offers features to facilitate compliance to FDA directive 21 CFR Part 11
    with computer control of BioTek’s Multi-Mode Washer Dispensers, Washers and Dispensers.

    LHC SiLA
    LHC SiLA software driver enables BioTek washer and dispenser integration into SiLA compliant automated systems. Includes LHC software for computer control and third party integration of BioTek’s Multi-Mode Washer Dispensers, Washers and Dispensers.

    Magnetic and polystyrene bead assays, conventional ELISAs
    The 405 LS is ideal for many standard plate washing and dispensing protocols, but it also automates more complex operations like magnetic and polystyrene bead washing workflows – and it’s Luminex® xMap® approved. Bead washing is available for 96- and 384-well microplates.

    USB flash drive ports for convenient file transfer and storage
    Two USB ports on the 405 TS enable convenient file transfer, storage and operation.

    Patented Dual-Action™ manifold
    Cell-based assays are easily processed with the 405 Select LS, with its angled dispense tubes, extensive aspirate and dispense rates and plate position controls providing optimal conditions for washing even fragile cell layers.
