Synergy™ HTX Multi-Mode Microplate Reader is a compact, affordable system for 6- to 384-well microplates and Take3 Micro-Volume Plates. It’s unique dual optics design provides superior performance for UV-Vis absorbance, fluorescence, luminescence and AlphaScreen®/ AlphaLISA® workflows.

Incubation and shaking plus a dual reagent injector module to meet all your laboratory’s assay requirements now and in the future. Synergy HTX is controlled by the easy-to-use, yet powerful,  Gen 6 Software for data collection, analysis, exporting and reporting.

  • Software

    Gen6 software controls all BioTek automated microplate readers, configuring system and data collection parameters, analysis and a variety of reporting and exporting features. One-click export to Excel® makes it fast and easy to export displayed data.
    Gen5 Secure software is available for GxP compliant laboratories with features that support 21 CFR Part 11 rules.

  • Micro Volume Plates

    Micro-volume quantification is fast and easy with the Take3™ and Take3 Trio Micro-Volume plates, used in your BioTek microplate reader. Measure multiple 2 µL samples at a time, without diluting and without needing specialized equipment. Pre-programmed nucleic acid and protein protocols in Gen5 make quantification fast and easy.

  • Robotics

    BioTek’s robotic instruments can help automate workflows in your laboratory. Many life science workflows benefit from expanded automation, for increased throughput or process efficiency. BioTek offers unique automation solutions that integrate with our microplate washers, dispensers, readers and imagers. BioStack is a compact stacker that offers fast plate exchange options for 50 plates or more, and patented plate de-lidding and re-lidding with BioStack 4 . BioSpa 8 Automated Incubator links BioTek readers or imagers together with washers and dispensers for full workflow automation of up to 8 microplates. Temperature, CO2/O2 and humidity levels are controlled and monitored through the BioSpa software to maintain an ideal environment for cell cultures during all experimental stages.

    Affordability doesn’t mean compromising on performance with the Synergy HTX. Its hardware design and Gen5-driven functionality address a wide range of multi-mode applications without costly and often unused options.

    Monochromator – based UV/Vis absorbance and filter-based fluorescence
    Synergy HTX provides great sensitivity with its filter-based fluorescence optics, and the monochromator-based absorbance optics offers 200 nm – 999 nm measurements without requiring filters.

    Linear and orbital shaking support and optimize many applications
    Assays that require shaking, such as bacterial and yeast growth studies, will benefit from the robust, programmable shaking options in Synergy HTX.

    Excellent performance with AlphaScreen® and AlphaLISA®
    The sensitive fluorescence optics in Synergy HTX provide great performance for many applications including important Alpha assays.

    Dual reagent injectors are ideal for inject/read assays
    Optional dual reagent injector module with angled tips, for inject/read applications, such as enzyme kinetics and Dual-Luciferase® Reporter. Synergy HTX is easily upgradable to add the dual reagent injector.
