Overview

The ELx405 Select is the world’s first deep well microplate washer that aspirates and dispenses into 96- and 384-well plates. ANSI/SBS standard height microplates can also be washed, making the ELx405 Select a total solution for all your laboratory’s microplate washing workflows. The ELx405™ Select is automation compatible and its patented Dual-Action™ manifold is particularly useful in cell-based assays. Maintenance is easy with the available patented Ultrasonic Advantage™ that automated cleans manifold tubes to remove built-up salt and protein. The ELx405 Select is ideal for all standard and deep well microplate washing requirements.

The ELx405 Select is the premier microplate washer accommodating deep well blocks and standard height microplates, in 96- and 384-well format, without requiring specialized manifolds.

Ideal for cell culture, plasmid DNA purification and much more
Wash processes used in cell culture and plasmid DNA preparation are automated with the ELx405 Select – there’s no need for specialized instrumentation. ELx405 Select can also process magnetic and polystyrene bead protocols, making it a versatile plate washer for many laboratories

The 405 LS has extensive onboard software, accessed through the convenient touchscreen interface. Program all aspects of the system’s wash and maintenance parameters, quickly and easily and store them onboard for routine use.

LHC
LHC Software allows computer-based programming of multi-step processes and it is used for integrating BioTek’s multi-mode washer dispensers, washers and dispensers into robotic systems. You can operate the system under computer control via LHC, or create protocols in LHC and download to the instrument for recall and execution.

LHC Secure software
LHC Secure software offers features to facilitate compliance to FDA directive 21 CFR Part 11
with computer control of BioTek’s Multi-Mode Washer Dispensers, Washers and Dispensers.

LHC SiLA
LHC SiLA software driver enables BioTek washer and dispenser integration into SiLA compliant automated systems. Includes LHC software for computer control and third party integration of BioTek’s Multi-Mode Washer Dispensers, Washers and Dispensers.
